How to Use – Dr. Pen M9 Microneedling Kit (Step-by-Step)  

1. Cleanse & Prep Skin
Start with a gentle cleanser to remove oil, makeup, and dirt. Pat skin dry. For better results, you can apply a numbing cream (optional) and wipe it off completely before treatment.

2. Disinfect & Prepare the Device
Use a new sterile cartridge (18-pin or 36-pin depending on your treatment area). Attach it securely to the pen and disinfect with alcohol.

3. Apply Serum/Ampoule
Apply a thin layer of the included ampoule or serum to the treatment area. This helps the pen glide smoothly and improves absorption.

4. Adjust Needle Depth & Speed
Turn on the pen and set the appropriate needle depth and speed:

0.25–0.5 mm: Light treatment, product absorption
0.5–1.0 mm: Acne, mild scars
1.0–1.5 mm: Deeper scars (use with caution)

5. Microneedling Treatment
Gently glide the pen across the skin in horizontal, vertical, and diagonal directions. Do not press too hard—let the device do the work. Treat each area evenly for a few passes.

6. Reapply Serum
After microneedling, apply more serum or ampoule to soothe and hydrate the skin.

7. Post-Treatment Care

Avoid makeup for 24 hours
Keep skin hydrated (use gentle, non-irritating products)
Avoid sun exposure; apply SPF the next day
Do not use harsh actives (like retinol or acids) for 2–3 days

8. Clean & Store
Dispose of the used cartridge safely (single-use only). Clean the device body with alcohol and store it properly.
